Hi folks. My name is Ken Lang, President of Willowgate Music.
I put up this website to have a presence on the internet and to share my thoughts and songs with you.
Willowgate Music is my publishing company. We publish sheet music and also act as publisher for songwriters. We are affiliated with BMI and have published several songs by a local rock group. There are also several country songs that we hold the copyrights on and several others pending.
My main way to make a living has been through my engineering background and for the last 30 years I’ve worked at the same company designing machinery and being a project engineer.
For most of those years I played music on weekends with my own band, or sometimes with bands as a sideman. More of my history and thoughts are on my Bio page.
I’ve been playing music since the early 60's and almost all of the time it was on the 6 string guitar. I did have a Fender 4 pedal steel guitar that I learned a few things on but had to give up when I went to college. I now have an MSA pedal steel guitar but other demands have left me little time to work on it.
